A French lingerie brand sells through several Shopify stores, one for each group of countries, plus marketplaces and its own shops. Running that takes many operations a day: prices, stock, promotions, photos, customers, each to be kept in step across every store. The brand needed one platform to handle them all. We built the storefront of that platform, brought its 13 applications to a better experience and to production standard, and trained the team.
What was in place
Many automations, written in PHP over the years, did the real work: updating prices, stock and products across the stores. They worked. But there was no shared interface to run them, and no trace of what had run, when, and with what result.
For the teams, that meant no good way to handle the group’s operations: each task had its own file, script or tool, none looked or worked like the next, and nothing brought them together.
The objectives
- One platform for all the brand’s operations, across every store.
- A shared interface: the teams run the operations themselves, and every run leaves a trace.
- Safety: each user sees only the applications meant for them, and a change reaches users only when it is ready.
- Tools people enjoy using, and that can be trusted in production.
What we did
A storefront for the applications. One home page where each user finds the tools they are allowed to use, on an organised platform: permissions closed by default, separate staging and production, releases that can be rolled back.
13 applications, production-ready. Together they cover the brand’s daily operations: stock, prices, promotions, customers across every store, and a photo library that feeds all the stores and marketplaces. They give operators an interface over the automations, where every run leaves a trace. All built on one framework and released only when ready.
The team trained. Working sessions on real needs, so the brand’s team builds and maintains the next applications the same way.
The result
The brand onboarded its operators onto the platform. They now manage all these processes themselves, from one storefront, where they used to depend on scripts someone had to run for them.
